Let’s get in the Christmas Spirit (in the heat of summer)…by prepping for our annual Christmas Outreach, Giving Hope! Help us clean up a fallen tree at the Boys & Girls Club. We need a couple of experienced chainsaw operators to safely cut the tree into manageable pieces, along with a few extra hands to drag debris and load it into a dump trailer for removal. *Meet at 7:15 am at Midtown Campus to check in with your team, then join everyone in the sanctuary for a Team rally at 7:30 am.

Join us as we visit a local nursing home to share kindness and connection. We’ll bring small goodie bags, spend time talking and encouraging residents, and offer prayer to those who would like it. Southside Runners will be at Huya Craft Coffee in Youngsville on July 11th, starting at 6:30 am. Our runners/walkers who participate will run/walk a 5 mile route (or their preferred distance; there will be options). We have and are looking for more donors willing to pay for miles accumulated by the group that morning. Southside Runners is a non-profit organization, donating ALL proceeds (there is no overhead for this event) to Love Acadiana’s Foster Care outreach program. It takes approximately $500 for a new Foster family to take on a kid in need, and our goal is to bless as many families within the program as possible. Please consider participating through donating miles, donor funds, or both. God bless!
